Maintenance Notes
Small systems are easiest to keep reliable when checks are simple and regular.
- Record any unexpected shutdowns with date, weather, and approximate load.
- Keep cable runs labeled and avoid tight bends near connectors.
- Review charge controller logs after cloudy weeks or heavy usage.
- Store photos of wiring changes with short captions for future service.
- Check outdoor enclosures after long rain periods.
- Keep a copy of nominal battery settings near the controller documentation.
- Mark temporary wiring clearly and remove it after testing.
